The Kansas Soybean Commission works with industry partners, such as the United Soybean Board (USB), and the American Soybean Association (ASA) to make sure soybean farmers are represented in industry decisions.
In addition, the soybean checkoff works with industry partners to develop new varieties to improve soybean compositional traits, such as protein and oil levels and low-linolenic-bean varieties. The soybean checkoff also works with industries to promote new uses for soybeans, biodiesel availability and usage, soyfoods and other ways to increase demand for soybeans.
